OMGoodness… for someone who said she was going to do a
better job at posting, I have not done a very good job. Christmas has come and
gone and it went way better than I expected. Last year Christmas just wasn’t
very fun for us. We REALLY missed our families, and Colin was still too young
to realize anything was happening. This year, we had lots of fun; we started
some new traditions of our own, went and spent the day at a friend’s house, and
just enjoyed being together as a family. I couldn’t have asked for a better
day. I didn’t get very many pictures, Colin just wasn’t into opening presents,
he was more interested in trying to eat the candy out of Bubba’s stocking
(wrapper and all). BUT, lucky for you, I did get a few :)
With the New Year on the horizon, we have a lot of things to
get done. 2012 is going to be an interesting one to say the least. I ask that
you pray for all of us as we get ready for a really long six months. I know
that God is in control and that everything will be great. I’m so thankful for
things like SKYPE!!!
Hopefully Colin and I will get to do some traveling around the
area and maybe some more of Europe… Be looking
for some pictures of Paris
soon (wink, wink)
